Tina Fey, Riz Ahmed, and Jamie Dornan have been announced as the first three hosts for the brand new British version of Saturday Night Live, also known as SNL UK. Tina Fey, who is well-known for her work as a writer, actress, and host on the American SNL, will kick off the series as the very first host on March 21. She will be joined by the indie band Wet Leg, who will perform as the musical guest. The following week, actor Jamie Dornan, famous for his roles in Fifty Shades of Grey and The Tourist, will take over hosting duties. He will be joined by Wolf Alice, a band that has won Brit Awards for their music. The third episode will feature Riz Ahmed, an actor known for his role in Four Lions, as the host, with the rock band Kasabian performing live music.

The new SNL UK series will be broadcast live from London every Saturday night at 10 PM on Sky. This marks the first time that the popular sketch comedy show, which was originally created by Lorne Michaels and first aired in the United States in 1975, will have a British version. The UK show will follow a similar format to the American one, with each episode lasting 75 minutes. Every week, the host will start the show with an opening monologue, and there will be a mix of topical sketches, live music performances, and a segment called Weekend Update, where the cast makes jokes about the week's news.

The show will also feature a new cast of UK comedians and entertainers, including Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. The writers for the show include Charlie Skelton, who has worked on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Al Roberts from Stath Lets Flats, and Bella Hull from Have I Got News For You. Each episode will be written and rehearsed during the week before being performed live in front of a studio audience.
