Over Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham, the moon appeared darker and more yellow, with one side in shadow. In Broadwas, Worcestershire, a photographer managed to capture the Blood Moon in its early stages, showing trees and fields below an orange moon surrounded by a pink sky. Kinver, Staffordshire, saw the moon with a creamy yellow tone, and one photographer took an artistic approach by placing a leaf in the foreground, highlighting the bright orange light of the moon in the background.

Sky watchers in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, were treated to a bright yellow moon with spots of dark orange. Half of the moon was covered by shadow, but the rest was a vibrant yellow color. The BBC featured some of the best photographs from the past week, showcasing the beauty of the West Midlands during this rare event.
