This viral moment led Balvinder Sopal to search for a dhol player for her dance, and she found Josh online. Josh described the opportunity as 'once in a lifetime' and said he was honored to represent his culture and family on national television. He felt like a celebrity and was proud to showcase the dhol, a drum that is central to Punjabi music and celebrations.

Preparing for the show was intense. Josh rehearsed for a week and felt the pressure when he met Dave Arch and the rest of the Strictly band, who are known for their high standards.
