藝術家用令人驚嘆的壁畫將醫院花園變成海濱仙境

A children’s hospital garden in Wolverhampton has been transformed into a lively and welcoming space, thanks to the creative efforts of Birmingham artist Mr Murals, whose real name is Daniel. He painted a large mural with a seaside theme, featuring blue waves, sea creatures, sandcastles, and kites. Daniel decided to offer his artistic skills for free, but instead of charging the hospital, he tried to raise the money himself to cover the costs of the mural. Despite having a big following online, Daniel found that fundraising was much more challenging than he had expected. He shared with BBC Radio WM that he was very pleased with the final design, and he enjoyed being able to adjust his artwork as he painted, making the mural even more special for the children who would see it.

Daniel is known for his murals in Birmingham, including a huge piece on Navigation Street that celebrates the famous band Black Sabbath. For the hospital garden, he wanted to create something that would make children feel happy and inspired. The mural is just one part of a bigger project to improve the garden. Many other people also donated their time and skills, including gardeners and landscapers. Together, they added a new play area and an outdoor cinema screen, turning the garden into a fun and relaxing place for young patients and their families.

The project was a true community effort, with people from different backgrounds working together to make the hospital garden a better place. Daniel said he was grateful for everyone’s help and proud of what they accomplished. The garden is now filled with color and life, and it offers children a cheerful space to enjoy during their hospital visits.
