Martin's journey in music began at Landgate School and College in Wigan, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for singing. He was invited to contribute to Foster and Allen's latest album, which features a cover of Westlife's popular song, 'Flying Without Wings. ' John's excitement about Martin's singing ability is palpable. He shared, 'If you asked him his name, he couldn't respond, so to hear him singing was unbelievable. ' Martin's love for music is evident, as he sings constantly, bringing joy to his family. His musical journey took off when a former headteacher gifted him a karaoke machine, allowing him to sing along to his favorite artists, including James Blunt, Coldplay, Take That, and Snow Patrol. Julie Hewitt, a teaching assistant at Martin's college, remarked on the joy of witnessing Martin engage in something he loves, stating, 'It just shows you even with a disability, your dreams can still be there. ' Since his talent became known, Martin has performed at various events, including weddings and local pubs. His parents believe that Foster and Allen have provided Martin with a remarkable opportunity to showcase his abilities. Tony Allen, one of the duo's members, was thoroughly impressed with Martin's performance, describing it as 'note for note perfect. ' He reflected on the experience, saying, 'People ask us what was your favorite thing that happened in your career, and I always used to say Top Of The Pops because it was magic, but I think being in the studio with Martin really goes above Top Of The Pops without a shadow of a doubt. ' Mick Foster, the other half of the duo, expressed his desire for Martin's achievements to serve as an inspiration to others. He stated, 'If it gives hope to other people that have autistic kids, that's more important than whether the song will go to number one or not.
