He started by designing dinosaur toys, but now he uses advanced techniques like 3D printing, resin casting, and traditional sculpting to make his models as realistic as possible. Each bone is carefully planned on a computer and then put together like a giant puzzle. Alex says it takes a lot of attention to detail to make sure everything is correct. He is especially proud of being the first to recreate some newly discovered dinosaurs, like Berthasaura Leopoldinae from Brazil.

These artists are sharing their work at events like the Fossil Festival in Lyme Regis, where people can see their art, attend workshops, and learn more about the prehistoric world. The festival has become more focused on paleoart because more people are interested in how science and art can work together. The director of the Lyme Regis Museum, Bridget Houseago, says that paleoart helps us imagine what the Jurassic world was really like, and as science changes, so does the art. The Age of the Dinosaurs exhibition at Kents Cavern lets visitors walk among the dinosaur skeletons, making it a fun and educational experience for families. Both the exhibition and the festival are great ways for young people to get excited about science, history, and art.
