Samsung responded to the lawsuit by saying they got the image from a third-party partner, who assured them that all permissions had been secured. Samsung says they did not intend to misuse Dua Lipa's image and that they respect her and the rights of all artists. The company says they are open to working with Dua Lipa's team to resolve the issue. Dua Lipa is known for working with many famous brands, including Puma, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Apple, Porsche, and Chanel. She recently became a global ambassador for Nespresso, and her latest album, Radical Optimism, was released in 2024. The case is now in court, and both sides are trying to find a solution. This situation highlights the importance of respecting artists' rights and getting proper permission before using someone's image for commercial purposes.
