' She believes that the region has a rich history and a bright future, and films are a powerful medium to highlight that. Importantly, the festival is not limited to local filmmakers; submissions are welcome from filmmakers across the UK. In addition to Delapre Abbey, events will also be held at the University of Northampton, the Northampton Filmhouse, the Guildhall, and the Creative Space located in the Market Square. A notable feature of this year's festival is the inclusion of three events in honor of International Women's Day. One of these events will be a 'people library' where attendees can engage in one-on-one conversations with women working in the film and television industry. This initiative aims to inspire and empower individuals interested in pursuing careers in film. Although the festival is still in the final stages of preparation and will conclude on March 15, Mrs. Carrier is already thinking ahead to next year's festival.
