The Oasis reunion tour began on Friday in Cardiff, where fans showed up in bucket hats and sunglasses, ready to celebrate the band’s return. The tour continues this weekend in Manchester, the hometown of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The two famously split up in 2009 after a backstage argument, which led to Noel leaving the band. Now, after more than a decade apart, they are performing together again. One man in the queue said he was going to see Oasis at Heaton Park and couldn’t wait, describing the experience as something he had been looking forward to for a long time. He mentioned that he had seen both Liam and Noel perform separately, but seeing them together on stage was going to be a special moment.

Among the fans was 16-year-old Lila, who came to the shop with her father. She said she became a fan of Oasis because her friends liked the band, even though she didn’t at first. Now, she was hoping to buy T-shirts, jackets, or a bucket hat. Another man was searching for a burgundy tracksuit to wear to the Manchester concert, saying he felt as excited as a child on Christmas morning. Fashion magazines like Esquire and Mr Porter have even suggested dress codes for the tour, encouraging fans to wear bucket hats, sunglasses, shirts, jeans, and vintage track tops, just like the band. Rachel, another fan, was looking for a top to wear when she goes to see Oasis at Wembley in September with her dad. She said she hoped the Gallagher brothers would still be together by then and not have another argument. Rachel grew up listening to Oasis with her father and was looking forward to hearing classic songs like 'Stand by Me. ' Oasis, formed in 1991, became one of the best-selling bands in British history, but the Gallagher brothers’ rocky relationship led to their split in 2009. Last year, they announced their reunion and a series of live shows in cities like London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Fans are thrilled to see the band back together after so many years, and the excitement is clear both at the concerts and at the pop-up shop in Birmingham.
