She had always wanted to apply for the show but felt her baking skills were too amateurish. ' This experience has not only boosted her confidence but has also allowed her to become an advocate for people with ADHD, a condition she identifies with. After filming wrapped up in July, Georgie had to keep her victory a secret until the show aired in November. She found it challenging to hold back the exciting news, especially when she wanted to share it with her family. Georgie explained, 'It was such exciting news, there were a couple of times where I wanted to announce it to my family. ' However, she decided to wait so they could all watch the final together. Following her win, Georgie received an outpouring of support online, particularly for her advocacy work for individuals with ADHD. She expressed her gratitude for the love and well wishes she received, stating, 'The love and well wishes have been incredible, and I'm so proud to have been an advocate for people with ADHD. ' As the holiday season approaches, Georgie is excited to prepare her favorite Christmas dessert, cranberry frangipane, although her children are not big fans of it. This year, she plans to host a festive dinner for around 10 to 12 people, featuring a goose as the main dish. In addition to the goose, she will also prepare a turkey, which she plans to use for making pies and baguettes in the days following Christmas. Georgie shared, 'I don't mind cooking on Christmas Day, it's part of the joy. ' To cater to her children's tastes, she will also whip up chocolate profiteroles filled with cream, ensuring everyone has something they enjoy during the festive celebrations.
