The site would be filled with rows of solar panels, which would capture sunlight and turn it into electricity. The farm is planned to have a capacity of 40 megawatts and would operate for 40 years. After that, the land would be restored to its original condition, so it could be used for farming or other purposes again. The developers have promised to keep the existing hedgerows and trees to help the solar farm blend into the countryside. They also plan to plant more trees and bushes to support local wildlife and make the area more attractive.

Local people are being asked to share their opinions about the project. There will be a drop-in event at Beverley RUFC, Beaver Park, where residents can see the plans and talk to the developers. This event will take place on Thursday from 3pm to 7pm. People who cannot attend can also give their feedback online. The formal planning application is expected to be submitted to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council in the autumn. If the project is approved, it will help the region move towards using more renewable energy and reducing its impact on the environment. The solar farm is part of a wider effort to tackle climate change and provide cleaner energy for the future.
