There have been rumors every year about Oasis playing at Knebworth again. The band last played there in August 1996, and it was a huge event. Fans have been hoping for a return ever since. Last month, there were reports that Oasis would play at Knebworth for three weeks in September 2027. In 2025, a member of the House of Lords said Oasis would play five nights at Knebworth, but she later said it was not true. In 2024, some newspapers said Oasis would play at Knebworth again after announcing their comeback tour, but the band said those reports were not correct.

When tickets for Oasis’s comeback tour went on sale in 2024, they sold out right away. The prices went up a lot because so many people wanted to go, with some tickets costing over £200 more than usual. More than four percent of the UK population tried to get tickets to see Oasis at Knebworth in 1996.
