The company estimates that the centre could create between 120 and 150 jobs, ranging from security and cleaning to specialized technology roles. Greig Templeton from ILI Group pointed out that the company has a history of supporting local communities, such as their previous project in the Highlands, which included community funds and new walkways. However, others, like Cheryl Rowland, are skeptical. She wonders if the jobs will actually go to local people or if workers will be brought in from outside.

Another concern is the impact on the environment. Lisa Beacham is worried that there has not been a full environmental impact assessment yet, and she feels the company has not provided enough details about how the centre will affect the area. ILI Group says they are still in the early stages of planning and are consulting with experts and local authorities. They promise to carry out detailed studies before moving forward.
